Matt Ney is on page 53 of 176 of Breaking Things at Work: The Luddites Are Right About Why You Hate Your Job
I have to return this to the library and, unfortunately, this book has not justified itself as being worthwhile to continue reading. So, I think this is going in my Did Not Finish stack. The first chapter was promising, but the second chapter just becomes such a slog to read and seemingly for no reason because it feels completely disconnected from the premise of the book. Anyway.

Matt Ney is 30% done with Gardens of the Moon (Malazan Book of the Fallen, #1)
Almost ten hours in and all anything anyone does so far is talk. Laughable dialogue, foreshadowing repeatedly screaming at you to notice it, and not a single character worth caring about. I'm baffled.
Page number is a guess

Matt Ney is on page 274 of 472 of The Three-Body Problem (Remembrance of Earth’s Past, #1)
The writing and characters are flat, the plot is told through exposition, but I'm still intrigued by its ideas and story despite its flaws. Feeling propelled by these last few chapters.
