This book is so hard to get into due to the constant conversations between Charlie and the dead disk killer she has a thing for. Trying to push through it to the actual plot of the book but the plot seems almost secondary

So far not so good. I remember the first one and I have no memory of the main character having any of these traits. Not to mention that the characters fall flat to the point that you find yourself not really vested in what happens. I'm.going to try to finish this one but a page Turner it is not.

This book is utterly fascinating. As someone in the mental health field it calls to mind many a patient that has crossed my path.

Different from what I was expecting, but a good different. The writing keeps the story at a good pace and is holding my attention, which seems to be getting harder and harder to do these days.

Thoroughly enjoying this book.

Anna Quindlen is an excellent writer. Never have I read a book about the mundane day to day and yet, been so engrossed.

I tried but I just could not get into this book. I stopped reading prior to completion.

I'm having a hard time getting into this novel. I'll give it a few more chapters and hopefully something will draw me in. But so far, not too hard to put this book down.

So far so good. This book is nothing like I expected. It follows a middle aged married father of 2 and the crazy direction his life takes after being laid off.

I'm struggling to get into this book. Its surprising that a book authored by a literary agent has parts that are so awkwardly worded.

Its pretty disturbing to read how much the media distorted the truth.The truth was so much scarier.

I'm barely into the book but I can already tell its going to be heartbreakingly good.

So far so good. I'm a fan of the Curtis Black series and am happy that Pastor Black has calmed down and the focus is now on his daughter.
