enjoying this very much except for the romance aspect. good god. this would be a 5/5 if i didn’t have to cringe so much at the romance plot.

with a few exceptions i don’t think authors should read their own audiobooks. voice actors exist for a reason. this is not even an egregious case of that, she’s doing a pretty good job of it. i’m just saying it could be even better with a professional.

Nearly as eye-rollingly pretentious as This Is How You Lose The Time War. A little bit like Wolf In White Van except less interesting. I'm gonna give it a chance and keep reading for a little bit anyway. At least Sadie's POV is a lot better than Sam's.
