I'm really curious if there's going to be any bad blood between the Wizard and Ozma, who he kidnapped and had Mombi hold captive while he ruled the Emerald city in her place...he's technically an antagonist. I know Ozma lets him continue to practice magic in Oz in later novels...

Any sci-fi recommendations that aren't about war or the fate of the entire universe not being at stake?

This would be much more interesting/rich if we got the perspective from Yoon Jun too. Also, junior high schoolers are mean, man.

Missed the music and narration cast!

I grew up loving Oppel's Silverwing series and it's proving true he loves bats it as it seems they play central focus in this series too.

Finally picking this back up and listening to Celtic Dreams by David Davidson, the perfect match 😍

This book mostly feels like real life, due to the author herself narrating and being amazing in voice-acting.

Some introspection: As a child I would have read this excited to get to the adventure/magic. As an adult I'd rather spend time with the family and focus on the real life problems. Funny (sad?) how the mind changes!

This book is making me ship Shahrazad and the Sultan and that's never something I thought I would say, plus they aren't even main characters!

My Aunt was selling her copy of At the Back of the North Wind but I didn't know until someone already bought it. She is going to ask if the buyer is willing to give it up so I can have it. Fingers crossed!

So seventies -- many poems with anti-war themes and then another describing the 'horz' and 'vert' tv dials. Love it.
