Mrs. Montague is the worst, but she's a lot more fun than descriptions of the architecture!

I'm going to finish this book this year. It really doesn't draw me in though. I really enjoyed We Have Always Lived in the Castle, and expected to like this one more.

Still going through this realtime, and Dracula just got to England. Fun detail: he shapeshifted into a huge black dog to jump off his ship when it arrived, and the S.P.C.A. came looking for him to find an adopter. #bloodhound

Ok, it took most of a subway ride, but I finished the first page (my first German book to read so it's going to be slow). Getting some real noir cyberpunk vibes!

Monkey's a fun character, but with the countless fights in which no one gets hurt and the chapter-ending cliffhangers, I can't escape the feeling that I'm reading a cartoon.

We'll see how things progress now that Buddha laid down the law.
