Actually started reading this book way earlier. I have the hardcover and it had a good start. Need to start again. I liked Levin.

First Syed Mujtaba Ali book. I started reading (listening?) to this book before my trip to France. Mujtaba Ali’s character set the mood of my trip.

I like how well read the author is and his knowledge of different cultures and how he also is grounded with his Sylheti roots.

Reading this book taught me a lot of stuff about French history. I think I might be a Bonapartist because they seem cool. Might change my mind later.
