Did you know that in the book when Daenerys burned her eggs with Drogo along with herself, all of her hair burned off? We are again reminded in book two.

The end of chapter 4 is a page turner. But I have to get going this morning. Darn it!

Reading quick now. Very exciting chapters.

I found it hard to have a serious conversation while galloping. But I'm sure it was only an oversight. It happens not only to new writers, but experienced ones as well sometimes. I was able to figure out, after a quick backtrack, that they must have reined in at some point. I'm really enjoying this book however. :)

I'm not sure I like the word Others to describe White Walkers. But I'm really getting into the story now.

Today I tried reading it outloud and found it to be a more enjoyable read. On a few chapters I felt a bit lost with all the families and names. If it were not for the TV series, I think I would find myself rereading a lot. However, other chapters I found fun and exciting. I suppose it could be the characters I'm reading about. I do have favorites in the series.
