I like plot, but this is the looongest book. The writing is good, but the cliches are thick, the main character is an Alpha and a surgeon but at times comes across like a wimpy, whiney little boy and well, slightly annoying. I have read many Shifter books and love the genre but this isn’t anywhere near the top of my list.

Something tells me I’m going to be sorry for reading this at night (lol)

I normally don’t do a review before I finish the book but this one is getting to me. If you read the synopsis, you know the “heroine” is a psychologist, but seriously, she had NO moral compass when it comes to keeping her mouth shut about what is share by patients. So the other main character is a hot lawyer, that doesn’t give her the right to spill everything. No wonder I don’t trust shrinks or lawyers

I have to ask, does no one edit these books? How did Emma’s father go from being a doctor in the early books to suddenly becoming a dentist in books 5 and 6?? Does the author think because the books were released years apart no one is going to notice??

Seriously, can this author get an editor that can do their job…at the beginning of the book Arla and Harry’s daughter, Nicole is 4, at chapter 30 she is two (which based on the other books is right). There are several spelling mistakes as well. Yes, I am being picky but it makes it hard to follow the story with glaring errors.

So annoying, Aria Baker is supposed to be this amazing detective but until the end of the books, the author makes her sound like an idiot for BOT seeing what’s coming or what is right in front of her face!!
