The characters are getting some heart. I almost feel like the real main character is Astrid. I think I like her story more than Nick and Rachel's.

Kind of underwhelmed... Everyone seemed so positive, but it's not as good as I imagined it to be. Probably won't continue on with the series, but the movie still sounds good to me.

I can already tell I'm going to love this.

I'm sorry, but what the actual fuck is going on?! I was enjoying this book so much and then a certain chapter rolled around and I'm like: HOW DID WE GET TO THIS POINT. IT'S SIMPLY RIDICULOUS. I had to close the book and just laugh for a minute.

I'm not really liking this so far... I hate the main character and I have a huge problem with the way it's written. I don't get the high ratings tbh.

I need Gemina in my life. How am I going to survive until October? Ugh.

I signed up for a funny read, but this one is so profound! Dealing with OCD, anorexia and even Alzheimer's.

I saw this coming from a mile away, but it still hurt so much.

The little royalty appearance had to be Dorian and Chaol.

So good. I honestly don't even know what direction this story is going to go, but I'm excited to see.

This story makes me want to pull my hair out. It's not that it's not good, but it irritates me how Ellie suddenly took over Helen's life and nobody knows the difference between Ellie and Helen. They had completely different personalities before, until Ellie took over Helen's personality. I mean, your own friends and parents would recognise you, right? There are other physical differences than clothing and hair.

I can't handle this unfairness. I hate Ellie.

Gosh, this writing style. Really my cup of tea. 'She wished she could recapture it now, the inspiration that rolled in like a breaker only to smash against the sea wall of her consciousness and drain away, pulling her with it to drift on a grey ocean, leaving only wreckage behind.' IT'S LIKE A POEM IN A SENTENCE.

There is a phone call between Addie and her mom in this. It reminded me so much of my own relationship with my mom, that I started sobbing. This book makes me feel everything at once.

Trevor is my new book boyfriend.

'But,' he continues, 'if you need something to hold on to until you feel grounded, I make a pretty good anchor.' TEARS, TEARS EVERYHWERE.

I'm really, really, really liking this book. At first I didn't really get into it. But now I'm so invested and I like both of these boys. The ending is probably going to tear my heart in pieces.

I'm liking this a lot already. I need to find out more about Uthred's life. What I don't understand, is the number of pages on Goodreads. 368???? My English copy is 489 pages. That's a huge difference...
