I'm on Chapter 19 - in an audiobook format. I really have a hard time with audiobooks. I get lost so have to read again. I think I'm going to read the Kindle version that I have. I tried hard to listen but I'm just not an listener (a skill I could improve upon).

Enjoying this book. It's taking so long because I keep checking out information and books mentioned.

I'm not sure if this is taking me longer because I know if I sit and read it I'm going to regret being done of if it's because I'm not fond of the characters. Jackson's writing is superb as always but I'm not loving the characters. But I'm pulled in each time with these words she writes so I don't mean the characters are poorly written, rather I've got such a good impression of them.

This is a series but so far it hasn't mattered to the story. There are several suspects and I'm not sure who has done it - for me, that's always the sign of a good mystery.

Going to enjoy this one. Definitely going to have to read the rest of the series.

I'm enjoying this book so far. Not necessarily the fun beach read that I'm used to for Mary Kay Andrews but enjoyable none the less. If you are looking for a fun, light-hearted book this might not be for you . . . at least what I've read so far.

I'm only on page 20 and have a couple of problems with the book. One that a person has to retire at 55 (I'm 53 and also in education so a little too close to home). The other is that community college is a lesser, or "okay for students who aren't good enough for 4-year college" - drives me nuts, to the point I had to take a break before reading more.

I was intrigued by this book because it's about a writer who is tapped by MI5 to do some work for them. Sounds interesting right? But for me, it's just not hooked me at all. I feel so removed from the story. There are moments when I connect, but those moments are rare.

Definitely worthy of the first book. The only reason I'm not done with the book is because I have bronchitis so coughing too much.

Don't read this book of you haven't read the first. Read the first book again or have it nearby so you can look up some of the story. I'm going to read them all when the final book comes out at the end of the year.

Slow start. I liked Ms. Shelton's books though, especially her characters so I'm hoping that this changes soon.

I'm going to have to quit on this one until I can get another version. I've been trying to read it on Box - hate the app, not the book. What I've read (the same chapter several times) is interesting and I want to read more. Waiting to hear if there's another option as I received it free from LibraryThing.

I'm liking this book. Wording is a bit old-fashioned but that just is adding to it's charm.

Very frustrating. I keep having to find my place. And I think this could be a good book. Not liking the Box app.

Using Box, not enjoying it at all, it keeps sending me back to the beginning and I don't want to read this in one sitting.

I am not taking so long because I don't like the book - I had lost the book for a bit. The book is really good and getting better.
