I could’ve read this book without any of the main character’s love interest (who was really uninteresting). Their love story felt rushed and immature. But the sisters and mother’s relationships were complicated and I loved Eric.

Lots of sexual trauma that I wasn’t prepared for. Beautifully written. I felt The torment and anguish of the main character and had to just finish this as fast as possible! Narrator was fine. Not my favorite. Same vibes as The God of the Woods. Tragic.
