I'm juggling 3 books, but I had to start this too. OMG, the murder scenes are some of the best I've ever read. Perfect book for me!

Whew! Sexy thriller doesn't even begin to cut it. The antagonists are so twisted and evil. Love them! Boy, the synopsis of this book really nails it. "Find him. Seduce him. Make him pay." Larry Brooks does it again. This book is incredible. I'm an early morning reader and as soon as my eyes pop open I can hardly wait to shuffle down the stairs and dive back into this world of betrayal, lies, and mayhem.

It feels so good to be back in Larry Brooks' expert hands. As with all his books, the beginning drew me in and wouldn't let go. There are so many deliciously evil scenes that they amaze and inspire me. Stay tuned for an update. I don't want to reveal anything to early in case the detail ends up being a spoiler. All I'll say now, is that this is AWESOME!

The characters are very likable, the relationships complicated and believable, it's a super story -- and with a mystery about an old murder too! I can hardly wait to see what really happened.

I received this book free during a promotion. This story opens with Billy finding a body, but the suspense, character angst over whether she should call police, and the writing made this incredibly suspenseful. Bam! The author had me hook, line, and sinker. But then things started to slow a bit. Another storyline was introduced. A teenager found her mother dead. And the story ramps up again. Cool read so far.

I've been forgetting to update my page daily. This book is that good, that it consumes you, makes you forget things... like sleeping, eating, working...

I've been trying to put this book down for the last two hours! It's so intense, so gripping, which made it nearly impossible. I can't wait to see what happens next. Unbelievable storyline!

This story just keeps getting better and better. I can hardly wait to find out what happens next. If only this wasn't a holiday weekend and beautiful outside I'd spend the entire time reading. It's so hard to put this book down. I hate when life gets in the way of a good book. Don't you?

This book has a strangle hold on me. I've burnt dinners, skipped meals, ignored conversations. It gives edge-of-your-seat a whole new meaning. The "ticking clock" effect is brought to a different level entirely, forcing me to continue on. Even when I manage to pry myself away I'm thinking about this story. My first thought when I wake up: "I can't wait to get back to Pressure Points." Incredible!

Wow. Things have taken a hard right turn down an even more dangerous road. Unexpected twists had my jaw falling open, speechless. Why this book doesn't have five stars is beyond me. It's just as good as the first book in the series, if not better.

Bait and Switch is another fantastic book of Larry Brooks. The main character, Wolfgang Schmidt is a smart-ass whose witty banter and one-liners are so funny. Really enjoying this. As with all this author's books, Bait and Switch has a tension-filled, conflict-ridden plotline that twists and turns. I can't wait to find out what happens next. More on this next update...

I have one word to sum this book up: AMAZING! I've tried to work, and this book keeps calling me back. I can't put it down! So powerful. Twists and turns. Suspense galore. I just nominated for MWA Best Novel Ever. That's how good it is.

Hard to say exactly what page I'm on with the Kindle. This book is SO good. Without giving too much away it's a suspenseful tale about an author who writes a secular book. A religious group wants the book destroyed (before release) because it announces their future plans, and aren't afraid to kill to erase its existence. There are other plot lines I'll breeze over next update. Don't want to say too much. Incredible!

Juggling three books isn't easy. However, Karin Slaughter will always be the queen of suspense in my eyes. It felt so good spending the early morning with her, and this book-- which is SO good!

This is a book a crime writer will return to again and again. I know I sure will to ensure my stories ring true. Even though I have a dear friend who's a retired homicide detective/coroner/firearms expert, it's important I know the facts and not just solely rely on his guidance. I would actually like to keep him as my friend after all. :-)
