To get to page 84 was tough. It’s very dry material, which I knew going in, but I thought my interest in the subject would help me enjoy it more. I think this book will be one I read a dozen pages at a time. Maybe.

I can’t say this book is an easy read or very engaging. I feel invested enough to keep reading though. Just tough.

I love Paulo Coelho, specifically The Alchemist, but this book is dragging. I am not sure if I can’t relate or if I relate too much, but I am just not connecting with the characters.

Not exactly what I was expecting, but I am going to keep going. Too early to give up.

Not bad. Definitely keeping my interest.

This is supposed to be a stand alone now that the other mysteries have been solved. Let’s see how it goes.

I am blowing through this YA series. It’s not even great writing, but the story is fun.

I am dragging on this one. I am setting it aside and coming back to it. I haven’t picked it up for a few ‘months.

Kind of cheesy, but fun Murder mystery. It’s definitely keeping my attention. This would be a great beach read.

This was something that randomly popped up when I was on Libby. It was available, I like Amy Poehler and I was up for an audio book. I don’t regret it so far. I love her. She is me. I relate to her so much, except for the whole being a celebrity and stuff. I look forward to finding time in my day to listen.

Good lord this book is not what I was hoping it would be. I am sticking with it for now.

Ok, I read the forward, and now I am wondering if I need to be in a better, more intellectual place to read this. It’s been required reading in some schools, so it can’t possibly be all that deep, but the foreword alone made me feel like I could miss the entire point of the book. Let’s see where this takes me.

I figured I could read a book that had a great reputation of literary goodness while reading Discovery of Witches. We shall see.
