May 8…it is here I feel things finally start to get a little weird for Jonathan—although he is still fascinated by the Count.

Again..a great (if disturbing) tale. Though I wish I had read this one in order, and had finished the Joe Ledger (proper) stories.

I got a copy from the library..I was not as far into the book as I thought. I am back to reading again, and this trade ppbk copy has an easier yo read font! Yay!

Not exactly sure what page I am on, but I brought this to the movies, because I was alone & wanted something to do until the movie started. I ended up changing seats a couple times (1 - my seat didn't recline and then 2 - the replacement seat I chose was already reserved) I left the book at some point. when the movie was over, I looked, and it had already been snatched up. So, I am requesting it from the library.

Pages really don't matter here, as I am not reading this book cover to cover. I am attempting to actually WATCH a horror movie a day this year - not necessarily one from the book, but I am trying that too (more difficult than you might think, as I try to hunt down the movies -- some I can't even find to purchase! and I am trying to avoid that anyway)

I love metaphors. Ways to break down complex ideas into everyday things. I am amused that the everyday thing in the Mai. Metaphor here is a computer. There was a time we needed the reverse of this metaphor
