Published in 2019. I'm just starting this because I discovered that there will be a 4th book. There was a 7 year wait between this and the previous book. I hope I don't regret picking this series up again.
Don't get me wrong, it's a very good series, I'm getting old though. I might not get to read the ending. 😊

I am very curious to find out if a certain bit of information towards the end of this story will lead to a story or even a new series.

This anthology is absolutely huge. I was going to wait until I finished the book to do my review but I couldn't.
I originally ordered this for Honey Phillips and Ella Maven's contribution. I haven't gotten to their stories yet.
The reason I'm doing an update is story 15, Alana Khan's The Yearning. I love 420 and Evelyn. The ending though, it gave me prickly eyes. It was beautiful. 5 stars!

Thunde, book 3, 3 1/2 stars. This was good. Thunde has a kind heart. Jessie is calm, sweet and quite smart. Jessie is the hero in this story but she and Thunde work well together.

Lazet, 2 1/2 stars, book 2 in the series. Melody is tstl. It's really frustrating when the female main character thinks she's independent, smart and strong when in reality she's stubborn and has temper tantrums which puts others in danger.
I want to know what the deal is with the Vorten elders and what will happen with the Fraken so I am going on to the next book.

Axen 2 stars. This isn't really a romance. I didn't feel any real emotion between Axen and Eloise. I didn't care for either of these people. There's plenty of violence though. It's not really an escape from reality. It felt like the author had a list of hot topics that she wanted in her story and marked them off her list if she tucked one in.

Apparently older people treat Lara like a much favored daughter and all men want her. Only the wealthy ones that are fit and handsome though.
I do think Lara is strong, intelligent, independent, methodical and kind.
Ben is possessive and jealous. He takes his anger out on Lara with accusations. He doesn't trust her and that makes me laugh. He's a cheater and womanizer, Lara would do better to ditch him.

I'm debating whether or not I even want to finish this book. It's unnecessarily wordy, often boring me. And a huge turn off to me is a cheater. Ben is married. He likes picking women up in bars. He almost feels like a stalker when it comes to Lara.

I read the first 3 books individually. I'm reading the rest of the series in this box set so I can read the extended epilogues and Gaje & Thea's novella.
