Going into reads without knowing what they are has delivered yet another surprising and brilliantly written book to me

Some of the stats they’re calling out in this are absolutely mind-boggling. This book is going to likely enrage *me* about how people allow that little “ - R “ after someone’s name on the ballots to drive their voting without a single care for what the individual may create (and destroy) locally and on a wider scale.

Kind of cackling at myself that I put off reading this for so long. Everyone is right: this book is THAT freaking good. Wow. Like… for REAL: wow.

What in the actual effing eff. Having gone into this unknowing of anything, I am ……. cored the motherscratching eff out.

Toni Morrison wrote the hell out of this book. Jiminy and his cricket. Whew.

Really having a hard time *not* just reading this until it’s done.

Entering the home stretch of this and … another book that cements my never doubting a few of my fave fellow readers.

Full enjoyment of this is now achieved.
