So far, way more fun than I anticipated

Having read other books of hers I found more exciting and intense, and having seen Titanic, I found this one meh. (It can’t help but draw comparisons. The kids even use a car in storage. Much different situation, of course, but still.)
Kids with interest in the titanic may prefer this to kids looking for books with more action. There are other conflicts but they are pretty minor, really.

About halfway through.
Oh it’s so bad.
But fun.
But I feel like Freida just writes things she’s heard or snippets that amuse her. There was one thing in this book I swear she jacked straight from my life… can’t remember what it is
