There’s a lot of telling, not showing. Also.. Person: Don’t do the thing. Willful Protagonist: Does the thing literally a page and a half later. *eyeroll emoji*

Two things. 1) You don't have to tell us more than once that you have more of a platform to be heard than other women because you've published eleven books. We get it. 2) Stop with the #NotAllMen apologetic asides, for real. We get it.

I have been reading this book for approximately one hundred years.

Why does the author think we need an exact count of how many pieces of bread the main character eats at each meal?

Also, there was literally no point in Tall Andras AT ALL and yet I read soooo much about him. This book is going so terribly I half expect to find out everyone has a "gift" because they're Divergent and they're part of the experiments to fix people's modified genes.
