Had to interrupt my reading for some chemo/radiation but back on track. It's good!

This is beyond depressing

Great book but still working on it; working full time and going through chemo is slowing me down!

I need to put this on a back burner. I'm feeling that I'm missing a great book here but due to chemo I just can't concentrate enough to finish it just yet.

Still involved in this lovely book. Unfortunately I'm recovering from surgery and need darkness and murder while I'm recuperating so I've been a constant visitor to the local library; catching up on all the books I haven't won! :)

I hadn't read more than 30 pages when I felt depression overwhelm me. We all know how this will end. A once beautiful land filled with abundant wildlife will disappear when "white civilization" intrudes and poisons most of it.

Oh wow. Page 8 and I'm weeping already.

This really surprisingly is not my cup of tea. I stopped after the first chapter to read the reviews on the back only to see it was remarked upon as being a "beach" read. Police procedurals are my favorite but this isn't cutting it. I will continue and finish it this weekend but am so far disappointed.

I'm having a tough time with this one; wanting to like it but just not getting anything out of it. Putting it down for a bit and "playing through" with another book.

This book is becoming a long process in reading and rereading because it's so fascinating!
