Reading about a female teacher being jealous about a HIGH SCHOOL BOY and practically bullying the 16 year old girl is likes is so embarrassing and disgusting and makes me want to end this book now but I also want to see what happens with other plots…hmmm

not a fan so far but I need an audiobook so will stick with it for now

I can NOT read another chapter of the college kid being upset that the woman he loves (who he’s only known for a few weeks) is engaged to someone else. These characters are so annoying. This book will not end!!

not really in the mood for an old Elin book because I like all her later books way more. wanted an audiobook and this was the best I could find for now

Tbh, my expectations were so much higher. I have no doubt his intention was pure, to help raise awareness about addiction and how it truly is a difficult to control disease. But… this timeline is so hard to follow and he repeats the same cycle of blaming his mom for his romantic problems and describing how sick he always felt. I don’t feel like I’m taking much away from this like I should.

Slowly making it through this when I’m in the mood for something light. It’s cute and well written. Hope to finish it eventually…

GONNA SAY IT. It’s insane to read WW2 fiction and see so many comparisons to what’s happening to immigrants today. And if you don’t believe me…pls read literally ANY book from this time period…

Not sure what to think about the killer…is it really this obvious or is there a plot twist?? I have suspicions so I really just want to get to the end

I hope this gets better. The scenes are so short and I feel ZERO emotion from the writing so far

This book is so fun! Perfect if you want a thriller that is somewhat humorous and not at all dark. About halfway and I’m not sure who to suspect. I love the podcast chapters.

love Elin Hilderbrand - she is my comfort author and the reason I want to visit Nantucket so badly. BUT I wish she would stop doing the cliche character hopelessly involved with a married man who clearly doesn’t care about her (especially when there are other better guys in the picture). I’m cringing.

so far all the characters are such genuinely good people. I could alternate between sad and happy crying for them with this plot

Given the current state of everything…I think A LOT of people need to read this book…
