I’m kind of annoyed…

I’m a little over halfway through the book and Daphne is making my head hurt. I think all she needed to do was record ONE phone call with Jackson and bam…case closed 🙃

Okay….I’m listening to the audiobook for this one, and I am STRUGGLING to keep up. There is no differentiation or warning when we switch character point of views…it’s taking me a minute to realize who’s point of view I’m hearing and keeping track of the characters is proving difficult as well. This may be one of those books that’s ruined by the audiobook narrator 😓

I’m a little less than halfway through the book…and I know it has amazing reviews which is why I’m pushing on. So far, though, I REALLY don’t understand the hype. Chloe’s character is so irritating (I know, she’s supposed to be) that it’s nearly enough for me not to finish. I’m hating these characters so far.

I’m only about halfway through…I’m loving the story line so far! I’ve read just about every book Ruth Ware has authored and I’m coming across the same issue in each one- the female lead in every book is the SAME. She is always weak, insecure, doubtful of herself, and unsure…does this kind of irritate anyone else who has read her books??

I'm about halfway through the introductions of the book...and I don't know how much longer I can hang onto this book! It is so confusing and so far, has nothing to do with the 6 women the book is supposed to focus on. Rather, the author discusses their family lineage and discusses family members, townspeople, friends, neighbors blah blah in detail. Super hard to get through so far.

The writing is so terrible, I'm having a hard time getting through this. Between the misspelled words and run-on sentences, I almost can't get through a chapter without rereading sentences multiple times to figure out what Hall is saying.

Time for a re read
