Im DNF ing this, barely 20% of the way in. I loved the first book so much. So imagine my surprise WHEN THEY INTRODUCE A ROMANCE PLOT BETWEEN VONVALT AND HELENA. like…… what……. Was he not a literal father figure to her in the first book? Is he not THIRTY YEARS OLDER THAN HER? is he not her boss technically? It honestly just ruined this whole series for me
