Physical ARC edition

Extremely compelling. I’m enjoying this one a lot. I like the mix of dystopia and fantasy elements. Very Mad Max meets Snowpiercer.

I’m reading the eARC edition.

This is very telling and not showing so far, with a lot of run on sentences. The writing feels extremely flat in the first two chapters. I am so far not very impressed.

Also, weirdly reminding me of the Sims 4: Realm of Magic with this magic system.

Still pinching myself that I got an ARC of this.

The ex wife’s name is Tracy and the MFC is named Michelle - who gave this author my birth certificate

This book has wrecked me in ways I did not know were possible

I turn a page and burst into tears 3 times in a row

This has made me tear up like 3 times and I’m only 50 pages in.
