I had no idea Disneys sword in the stone was based on a book, but it has to be based on this one. Owl named Archimedes and everything. Who knew! Audio on this is excellent so far.

I loved how this picture book explored a winter habitat. Who was hibernating and how, where the animals were getting their food, what was happening in nature, but with a lyrical storybook feel and beautiful illustrations. I enjoyed using this to supplement our study of winter forest habitats.
