I'm getting serious XianXia vibes here. While Alterworld felt purely based off the Korean litRPG scene with a mix of some 70s-80s D&D fantasy. This feels more like Chinese webfiction and the various XianXia books but as a LitRPG with a hint of Russian culture.

Ohh jeez my opinion of this book keeps going up as I get more and more into it. I can't believe I was thinking about dropping this.

So currently I hate both of these characters, their idiotic emo stunts to give themselves super powers are so unbelievably dumb, even my 13 year old self would find it mind numbing. Ohh not to mention they also have pretty bad personalities and are assholes.

It feels like I picked a book in the middle of a series, it certainly has potential but I kind of wish we stuck with a single POV for a bit longer to start to understand what's going on.

Currently still not at the main premise of the book I hope it improves because so far.

*Zero explaination of what your shit is, thankfully I am familiar with the genre so I can keep up with context clues while you dump your new tech all over me with no explaination of what is happening.
*Stop describing pointless shit, I don't need a description and 2 metaphors to describe how someone walks. PICK 1

Jeez, I can barely keep reading this book about 90% of the characters are terrible.


*Arya has some hope.
*Dwarf guy has some hope.
*Bran maybe in future books could be cool character.
*Jon snow...might have hope if he can stop being the walking embodyment of Gary Stu.
The problem is I don't even love to hate them it's just bleh I don't care about a good number of them.
