I’ve been reading for 2 hours, unable to put the book down. I just had to sit in the bathroom at nearly 1am silently crying for ten minutes. This is the saddest book I’ve ever read. Will finish it tomorrow I guess. Jesus Christ.

I’m genuinely having to have a break from this for a few days. I’m really enjoying it (not sure if that’s the right word) but my god, it’s upsetting. More than upsetting. (I’m in the midst of Caleb’s rampages). Heartbreaking... it even gave me a nightmare last night.
