it’s been along time since I’ve listened to a book that was so poorly, edited and proofread. I really do not understand how someone read this whole book aloud from cover to cover, and did not start screaming with the narrative inconsistencies. I also get more than a little frustrated with books where it’s ostensibly one thing but really something else. Goos mystery plot but eye-rolling romance add- on

Just started it. I can’t believe how badly written. Did this author not have an editor???

Interminable.

It’s getting better. I’m listening to the audio version and the narrator is not great. A good deal the prose is pretty wooden as well.

I may finish it...but I'm not enjoying it that much.

Oh...I thought it was a thriller. And kind of a dumb thriller but entertaining. Then I got to the romance part. I guess I should have researched Nora Roberts. I may or may not finish it.
