Better than expected, and I started getting up at 5AM awhile ago by telling myself I liked getting up at 5AM, so it sounds right. But it also sounds like that old SNL skit. I'll do an experiment with it before doing a review.

I don't know why I (we?) own this but the book I wanted to read today is in a room where someone is sleeping. o_O

My 3YO just can't get into the 3rd Narnia book. We've had several thunderstorms so he asked for a book about Thor. I said I didn't have one, but I have a good one about a superhero named Achilles who uses a sword, and there's a god in it named Apollo who uses arrows like Hawkeye. So far, so good!

Where No Cat Has Gone Before is free for Kindle until midnight, PDT, May 23.

There are quite a few hilarious and poignant moments I missed when I read this as a child. My husband was so amused by mothers sorting the minds of their children he's giving up his video game time to listen to me read the rest of it. My son is taken with Nana the dog.

I had forgotten how funny C.S. Lewis is. The LO is giggling much more at the offhand slapstick than he did with Tolkien's funniest bits.

LO is getting impatient because there's no lion yet, but the Queen perked him up a little.

We were blindsided by an expected but logical plot twist during tonight's reading!

LO asking me to read some parts again so it's going slowly.

Wasn't hard to figure out who Mr. Wednesday is. The rest I'm not sure about yet.
