Interesting book with all kinds of twists and turns. Pondered skipping the prologue because I am so eager to get into the meat of the story but I'm glad I didn't.

Still hate Trueba. First mention of Clara's death was mentioned...not excited about that. But really looking forward to how the story is gonna pick up with Trueba's bastard grandson. Also really glad that Satigny's fetishizing self is gone. Very excited to see Tercero return.

An overwhelming read. And a surprisingly agreeable ending. Something that Assata is lucky to have, a lot of her peers haven't been able to have the same. This is a great read for anybody, but specifically for people who feel the need to liberate Black folks, Third World peoples, and any underepresented, repressed, and marginalized groups from oppression.
