A gripping and surprising story, read in one go!

I now need to read the first book!

This book brought tears to my eyes. Very well done for the target age group. I hadn't known about this episode in our history and am very glad I now do.

My grandson loved this, joining in and following the great illustrations. I loved the more complex visual story telling, alongside the simpler text, maki g this a book to be enjoyed by a wide age group.

Grandson loved changing the colours.

So many strands that needed to come together. So many layers. A fantastic finale! I will miss these characters.

I am enjoying the different threads and anticipating them weaving together.

I would have benefitted from reading for the preceding two books I think. Sweet story for its target audience.
