I love how this isn't so straightforward of a "memoir". Excerpts from different articles she's written through the years, transcripts from interviews she's done as both the interviewer and the interviewee, emails she's written in response to questions she gets all the time, slice of life stories about her Chinese American identity, as well as her thoughts on slowly becoming a cyborg. Highly recommend.

Finally into the trials for the throne. Neema's got to think like a Fox, specifically like her ex-lover, to win this part. 🦅

Got me hooked on what's going to happen to the ruling-class traitor-to-the-throne's daughter going to meet the emperor in person for the first time as a full fledged adult and then the Hound guards have mind-reading magic?! Oh-noes! 🫣 Then the next chapter was like here's the actual main character: nerdgirl working at her desk 🙋‍♀️
