I fear I should’ve seen this coming but why does it have to say the word “membrane” that much

maybe i’m just gay and horny but the sexual tension between calaena and every female side character is palpable and i’m deeply suffering at the hands of heterosexuality

if this is how the author writes normally, i hate it. if this is the author doing the Character Voice, it’s genius. i don’t know the last time i had this visceral a reaction to a book on every page, not sure if that’s good or bad though.
