So excited to pick this back up again! I had started it a while back when a friend loaned me her copy. But my fingers ACHED to highlight and underline so I waited until I got my own copy. My first book about the Cathars! Highlighters ready! Reading only because its not on audio. I love the illustrations, the glossary, the list of characters.....

I’m loving reading about how the New Testament was formed — not as something that magically appeared, but as a collection of writings shaped, preserved, and recognized and most importantly translated and interpreted through history. The connection between faith and history fascinates me. They should not exclude but support each other.

Excited to get back to this one. Exploring Historical Jesus and the origins of the Bible

My "Year of the Sequel" continues. The followup to In His Image of The Christ Clone Trilogy. So far we have asteroids and locusts and nuclear war.... lol

Goal this year to try to read a sequel to each book I read last year that has one. This seemed like a great one to start with! (With which to start sounds weird! Lol)

This was going to be my 1st read of 2026 but I had to STOP. it was loaned to me by a dear friend and by page 11 my fingers were SCREAMING to go nuts with my highlighter...

My friend read this books on the streets of Paris. I have to have my own copy to love AND HIGHLIGHT

Ok 2026.... let's start this year off with a great thriller! Set in the forest on a spooky movie set in Cork, Ireland!

Well Sophie and I will either close out 2025 or open 2026. Either way I'll be in good company with my dear friend Sophie Kinsella.

Fingers crossed... i need a good christmas read!

Starting a lil holiday friends read!

Its growing on me.....

This is definitely out of my wheelhouse and I'm trying but struggling! It somewhat feels like a child's fairy tale.... but not for children....The audio is much better for me than hard copy... I feel like I'm being told a story.... also I keep thinking it would make a great movie mainly because I don't have a great imagination to visualize the scenes which I think would be great.

Fourth and final! I love how each book takes place in a different season. So the whole series cover a year.

These darn books are like french fries (in pearls and gorgeous gowns)! I cant stop! Total fluff but sooo yummy.

I hope its half as yummy as the cover!

Hopefully a cozy bite on my unexpected trip to Newport.
