don't judge! I left my book and nook at home and needed something to read and this was there and now I HAVE to see what happens!

Everybody who told me to read this book was right and I'm so sorry!

My friend Stacey reads this book every October - one chapter a day. I figured I'd join in this year - and so far it's really fun! I am a watchdog - my name is Snuff.

Not sure if this'll be healing or triggering for me, but I think it will help me help the girls so I'm trying this.

I am way over identifying with this book. Fairy tales, man - they can mess with your head!

I grabbed this on my way out the door to go camping thinking it was a children's book with a similar title... This is very much not a children's book. And it's not a book you enjoy, so much - is a hard book with hard subjects and hard characters but I'm very much invested and rooting for them.

Reading this for a country based genre study. He started running the year I was born, at the age I started running. Coincidence? Absolutely! Ha!

It's so rare to find a series where the third book is as good or better than the first. I'm loving this so far.

Omg I hate everyone. I wish I had the book instead of the audiobook so I could just finish it quickly.

So I bought this ages ago at audible because everyone says it's a Graceling readalike? And goodness knows I love me some Graceling. So tell me, all you who told me to read this - does it get better? Does the assassin lady (who is totally secretly a fairy princess or something, I'm sure) ever stop meeting evil mortal enemies and thinking about how hot they are? Why is there no more room to rant in this box?

Cook is totally Laia's mom, right? That's why she hates Laia's mom and the resistance? And loves Laia's dad?

I'm really starting to hope that Q becomes king of Fillory and he effs it up terribly, is a horrible despot, and Alice and Anais spend the next two books going to war to destroy him. Because he's the worst.

I really need to stop reading books about deeply unhappy people when I'm already in a weird mental place. I'm too susceptible to good writing.

Ok, so "Lucy" was the ghost who passed over and told Simon about her murderer, but now Fiona is talking to "Natasha" in her brain about her son Baz? So was it a different ghost who gave Simon the message?

You know a book is wonderful when halfway through you have to go back to the beginning to check on some things. N K Jemisin is the best world builder I've ever read. I love her so much!

I'm listening to this bloody book in the waiting room at Toyota cutting out superhero masks from felt for the girls and crying because of this ridiculous gorgeous book.

So we got an ARC at C2E2 and I started reading it to the girls while standing in line to meet Patrick Rothfuss (he was wonderful, btw) and OH MY GOODNESS y'all. Read this book as soon as it comes out.

Baby's first Vonnegut!

I can feel what's going to happen and I can't stand it. I'm listening to the audiobook so I can't just finish it in one fell swoop but I need it to be over because I can't handle this terrible anticipation.

I'm not sure how I feel about this book yet. Finch is being way pushy toward Violet which, if his motives were purely to make sure she isn't going to kill herself again that would be one thing but it's clear he also has the hots for her which makes the pushiness creepy? Also if the ending is "their love cured his bipolar" then I might get mad? But if not I might love this book? We'll see.

Bradley has taken one of my favorite series ever and added one of my favorite tropes. Teenage girl boarding school for spies. I love it so much.
