tandem read going surprisingly well! there’s a certain power in reading a 600 page book and then pulling out another 600 page book on the metro

fav characters got together so now there’s a 99% chance one is k*lled off by the end of this book

we are daring to do it: the tandem read. this and TOD at the same time. already feeling very weird on the metro but we’re chugging along

almost halfway through and, as always, scared - maybe for once her plans won’t be fooled? but i doubt it!

i will be brave but honest in admitting that i just now learned of some problematic things about this author and it’s been influential on my reading experience, aka i’ve been reading this a lot slower than anticipated - still going to read this whole series since i’ve already bought them but ugh.
