This book is insightful for women who are doing well but still feel some kind of internal struggle in their life. Although it does not exclude a female audience, who may also learn a thing or two. The book has a feminist message that basically comes down to learning to accept who you are in a world that tries very hard every day to convince you to do otherwise.

I had to put this book down because I got frustrated, annoyed and nearly depressed by the content. The book holds truth, for sure, and is insightful but that is kinda the problem. It is incredibly difficult to change it and then pointing out the truth just hurts and does nothing else. That was a mental hit I am not ready to take yet.

It is a very interesting and insightful book packed with useful information but a bit dense to get through sometimes. It is also quite old making the examples relevant to the story but not very familiar.
