I am totally adoring Jeremy. He is so funny and open.

I am currently sharing Eli's anxiety of Drake on the wheel of death. I've seen those performances several times in Cirque du Soleil and every time it freaks me tf out. Amazing talent.

I'm conflicted. It's pulling me in, but it's very violent, sociopathic, confusing (how does the general public not notice 30 dead bodies in a diner) but I like that he's mute, yet he took to this life with nary a blink... So I'm just not sure, but I feel compelled to keep reading.

I looked at the GR Awards nominees for Romance and except for 3, they could all be the same book cover, cute little animated characters in bright or pastel colors. Obviously publishers (or self-published) have found a "look" they think sells. But nothing stands out, except the 3. Variety is the spice of life but not with book covers it seems.

I was listening while out for a walk and luckily not many people around because I was grinning and chuckling out loud as Vic and Jacob had their pre-wedding photo shoot. Vic's sarcastic droll observations are hilarious.

Am super annoyed that I just found out books that have been free/give-aways have been removed from GR. So now they don't count unless you pay for them and probably soon only if you buy them from Amazon I imagine. Anyone using something good BESIDES GR?

So I only had 12 5* reads this year (guess I'm getting harsher in my old age) and they were by 8 authors. Lily Morton won the year with 3 or 1/4 of my 5* reads.

Okay, 1 more book to go to hit my 200% reading goal. Thanks, Covid-19. LOL I have one started which I'm sure I'll finish tonight. Wheeee!

Have read two Christmas stories in a row that are set on Christmas tree farms. Is that the hot theme for 2020? Purely coincidental as I didn't realize the second book was set on a tree farm.

Now you're struggling to build a website? Don't you watch YouTube? Haven't you heard of SquareSpace? Sigh.

Jay keeps moaning about how he has to set up an on-line store and he doesn't know how to code and he's procrastinating and I want to somehow email him or scream "SHOPIFY! Look up the damn website. It's all pre-built and even an idiot can set up an on-line store! Stop believing you have to do it from scratch!" Otherwise it's fun.

I'm not sure this is for me. Joakim is super needy after one date and can only think about how beautiful Kevin is. (shallow much?) I was waiting for the "less conventional" desires kept secret. Water sports? Scat? Twincest? No, pretty standard BDSM lite and for someone who "hides" these desires he spills his guts on everything via text after one date. We'll see how it goes but I'm not hooked.

I have to stay living alone in a hotel and unable to go out much has me blowing through my reading goals for the year. It's like a book a day at this point. Oh well, worse ways to spend my time I suppose.

Why is everyone in this book such an asshole. A brother who basically spikes the drinks, ties a man to a tree naked and takes photos? I think that's illegal, dude. It's not funny or a joke. Everyone is a dick. How in the hell did Lena, the only sane one get hooked up with these people. Run girl, pregnant or not, run now.

Oh god, 10 pages later and she goads two guys into practically gay bashing him and then it's all "I'm sorry" wobbly lip. Poor me. I didn't mean it. Bitch. You are 21. If I was Dan I would never speak with her again not make excuses for her behaviour. Ugh. I'm not sure I'm going to make it to the end of this, although I know they'll forgive her because she's a pretty blue-eyed blond who will pout and say "sowwy".

I want Dan to hook up with stripper Chris, I HATE the spoiled brat daughter. I would be ashamed if my daughter behaved that way at 21, Squealing like a 6 year old who gets pony rides when someone you don't even know is getting married? CAUSING bar fights and getting away with it because you are cutsey & Daddy's little girl "and a good person" of which I see no evidence? Gee, tell them how you really feel. Sigh

I'm so far behind in recording what I've been reading it feels like it's hardly worth catching up. I will, but ... not now.

Last night I read a Valentine's Day and Halloween short. Guess I better get to that Christmas story to hit all the major holidays.

I hate hate hate this aspect of GR.

FUCK! Now I'm back at the top of the page or half way and have to scroll down forever to get back where I was. Why not take me back where I was? Is that so hard? Because now I've given up. I don't have time.

Reading slump, reading slump. Blah. Nothing is appealing to me these days.

My goal for this year should be to add books to GR as I read rather than adding 30 at one time. Ooops. But I likely won't.

Looking at the 30 (gulp - lies to self about 7 pages after) books that I bought at ARe that I've not read, I have to stop looking for new books and read what I bought . I sometimes buy books then go "eh, not interested anymore". Who knows why that happens. But most of these still make me thing "Yeah, wanna read that". So I need to do it. Make myself a sticker chart maybe. Some reward (more books? LOL) if I read them.

I really should update GR more often than every 2 months. I can't even remember what some of the books were about. Ooops.

Geez, Looks like I read a ton of books in the last day. I didn't. I just have not been recording and was too lazy to figure out when I read them. I have more I have to figure out. Sigh. Slacker.
