This was a great reflection on the horrible accident he experienced. I highly recommend listening to it, there is a different level of intensity from hearing his own words and the original 911 call than reading about it. There were moments when he talks about his daughter / his family and you can hear him get choked up and in that moment you can feel how hard this was to live thru, then write, and finally narrate.

I normally love Julia Quinn books and can handle the style of the book but this one was just a little more twisted and I’m sure some will love but it was hell to read/listen to a father being so f’ing crazy. I’m going to finish this book but I don’t know that I can read the last in this series or the new book about the queen for a bit.

So far I’d give this a 2.5 star, i grant you it’s 10 yrs old but in that time tech, laws, and medicines have changed enough to make whole chapters out of date. My reason for the rating so far is the all the should and have too. The premise at the opening of the book was to experiment & experience before worrying about labeling yet the author goes into absolutes.
