Surprisingly well-written.

Book is set in 2024 but characters seem to occupy themselves with newspapers...odd.

A page turner without jacket blurbs. Curious.

This is the most opinionated history book I've ever read, veering at times towards screed and laced with the self satisfaction of an ideological social media warrior. We'll see if it gets better.

Finally, the chapter on the Bastille. I know, there was a lot of important lead up that had to be exposited. You can't do Lexington and Concord without the Stamp Act etc.
