Enjoying it so far.

Good so far. You can tell the author is a screenwriter. Some parts feel like a script with the actor's stage instructions in between dialogue. There was a blow by blow description of a character trying to wash their hands while having a conversation. It's a good technique. The sentences are short & snappy, no waffling on which I appreciate.

I've been slowly reading this for the past month. It is too heavy to read in one go. Each essay, story & poem demands at least a few moments of reflection.

Interesting & well written. I'm enjoying it a lot so far.

It's good writing but takes so long to get anywhere.

This book is giving me a panic attack

Not loving this. It's very American-centric. I hate Ayn Rand & can read about her anywhere. this is not as interesting as his other books.

Arctic weather, Russia, a true mystery, what could be better.

Finally Boudica is present in the book, even if only seen through the eyes of Tacitus & Dio. I know so much more about Britain/Roman history from such a short book.

Once again, gotta take it back to the library. Im going too take ALL my books back & just read one at a time...

Well at first I wasn't sure what I was reading but now I've warmed up to the book & am quite enjoying it.
