I absolutely loved Frederick Fife and had high hopes for this book. But…. The pacing is slow and I’m not sure I care about the characters. Taking forever to finish…

So, I like this author and the premise. However this sounds like it was written by a high school class and feels a bit schizophrenic…. Disappointing

Ugh. Usually enjoy this author but… I can hardly invest in the writing and especially can’t invest in the character. This may be a dnf….

New author to me and I am kinda digging it…

Wow. Finally a good surprise ending. This is quite a book. Going to have to really think how to rate it. Maybe 4stars because I DID NOT guess the ending. (Thank god!) It ran off the rails of my expectations- so that made it even better! Definitely a dark graphic gory story, but the writing was excellent tho the pacing was just enough to keep me going. Actually, this book made me feel excited to read again.

Why is this on everyone’s top 10 list? Sad that the victims of tragedy aren’t even compelling….

A slow starter…but entertaining and short enough to continue the series

Enjoying this so far. Its pace is a bit slow but the writer wants you to really get to know the characters…so I am warming up slow to it. I do love the cover!

Ugh reading and listening to this one and I can’t seem to get thru it. Is it really horror? Or just horror because it’s about a vampire? It’s reviewed so well but I am having a hard time getting thru it….but I’m not quitter! lol

Really liked this one! A quick read and a nice journey. Well paced and predictable, I enjoyed the characters. Overall a nice book. The beginning with the characters leaving her wedding fitting- in her wedding dress- and driving 9 hours to Sebastopol drew me in. Characters are a little milquetoast, but good.

The ultimate emo girl descends into madness, sugar, and whining…. atleast I’m not bored! I’ve never done acid, but reading this is what I imagine it would be like…
