I enjoy anthologies that tie together like this but right now it’s not slapping for me

So I feel like I know a big plot “twist” and I just hope it’s done a little differently then. Some things are seeming obvious to me but also, ya never know which way an author will turn on you

The flowery way Alice writes was fun at first and now I find I’m skimming certain pages.
