good book....literally her childhood diary, with a few comments on looking back to those moments. sad to think that this is exactly what the children of Syria are going through (only possibly worse), and most of the world won't intervene. what are those UN "peace keepers" doing?! definitely NOT keeping the peace in these situations. :-(

Contrary to other reviews, I actually really enjoyed this book. I initially bought it because I thought the title was funny, & I have a friend who uses the phrase often. But then I read the back & realized it seemed like something I would enjoy. In 2010 I spent 2 months volunteering in India & this book brought back many good memories. It's about a spiritual journey across India to try to find herself in the madness.

I loved this book (as I do every book I read). But it was extremely depressing, knowing what these kids go through & how they end up on the street. I'm sure it's the same in every country (not only South America). I hope everyone reads this book, if only to gain more knowledge before jumping to conclusions.
