Realized that I'm no fan, so deleting.

I just finished The Texicans. Great story, well-written, that adds a different slant on how Texas was won, and by whom.

I just finished Land Of Mountains by Jinx Schwartz: Another wonderful, hilarious read by the author of the 'Just Add...' series, all winners in their own right. Land of Mountains takes place in Haiti, the heroine is an eleven-year-old (going on thirty!) Texas scamp with all the curiosity necessary to skate constantly on the edge of disaster. When not grinning, I was laughing out loud!
