woke up at midnight bcos i wasn't feeling well so i decided to read to pass time and 1hr later im crying again 😂 is this book made of tears or am i made of tears or what 😭😂😭

I've shed some tears in four separate instances in this book but on this fifth instance im full on crying at 5 in the morning. AAHHH MY HEART ㅠㅠㅠㅠ im just really extra super soft when it comes to family stuff ㅠㅠ

cute banters so far but my god another book with the repetitive 'blue eyes/blue gaze/blue ocean' in every other page, it's distracting.
i mean harry potter's eye color was a major factor in its plot but it was never repeated like this in all 7 books 😐

i wish there are chapters from quint's POV just to balance things out because prudence is just so overbearing and full of herself i wanna smack her in the head 🙃

60% in and i finally figured out why im having a hard time with this book - im not very fond of the protagonist lol reading this is more bearable when she's not the only one in the scenes

i really feel like this book was written with the intention/hopes that it will be optioned for a film adaptation. not that that's bad per se, but it's kind of putting me off.

the writing style for Leon is a bit.. not easy to read. it doesn't flow naturally.

Couple of pages more before I finish the "Broken Down" chapter. I just finished listening to Butterfly and the whole album just really hits me deeper, differently, both lyrically and musically.

(the way i knew that was *the moment* tupac and mimi first (and last) met even before the word 'eyelashes' was mentioned in the book :3)

The way the lyrics to "Petals" hit deeper now after reading the Dandelion Tea chapter~

ahhh reading my hardcover along with the audiobook version is GLORIOUS 💖

AFADADFFF i keep having to check the Throne of Glass wiki page because i cant remember the characters' back stories. so now i know, by accident, one character who's gonna die, when I'm only 44% in the book 💀🤦‍♀️
