I was looking over my 2025 Goodreads Challenge list and found that it was inflated by Kindle! Some of Kindle's entries were duplicates of books on my Goodreads shelves. I am guessing that other erroneous Kindle entries were triggered when I read the last page of Kindle books just to see the acknowledgments. The Challenge list is correct now but I am not sure how I am going to keep out these erroneous entries.

Fun to read and spiced with red herrings and plot points to keep you invested in figuring out whodunnit. I am joining the readers who hope the members of The Thursday Murder Club have long lives ahead of them!

Glenda is finished with The Christmas Mystery
This short book has two distinct sections with the crime fiction in part one. I think part two might be categorized as “domestic fiction”. Don’t sit down to read this when hungry! There are extensive descriptions of gourmet food. Oh, and shopping, too.

Glenda is 24% done with The Nightmare (Joona Linna, #2)
Whoa ... I am interested in the characters, but the pace still seems more deliberate than I expected. Now I have come to a full stop hoping that I will not have to fathom the complexity of Swedish extremist groups to really appreciate this book. A character just mentioned all of these in one paragraph "Anti fascist Faction", "Revolutionary Front", "Red Army Faction", and "Mossad".

Glenda is on page 226 of 384 of Restless in the Grave (Kate Shugak, #19; Liam Campbell, #5)
Doubling down today to finish reading "Restless in the Grave" by Dana Stabenow in time for book club on Wed. Didn't you think that the main character, Kate Shugak, was quite blasé about being stuffed in a chest freezer along with her 140-lb. wolf/dog ?
