This series is an excellent read, cozy mystery, and main characters Jerry McNeal and K9 partner always resolve their cases.

A good detective story with many twists and clues sprinkled throughout. I kept me hook all the to the end.

I like Scott Nicholson's ghost tales, but this one of a writer trying to write his autobiography of his abused childhood and psychotic adult is not for the faint of heart. The characters are will developed but the story is creepy and disturbing. I'm glad I'm finished with it.
