Started but got pulled away by something else...not ready to judge this yet, would be unfair.

I'm reading this one off and on...not because I'm not interested in it, I am. But it is not a favorite genre, and a good detective story will pull me away from anything, but another good detective...or...legal drama. I will finish and review this.

Almost done. It's a novella, but I got distracted...it is; however, good. Should finish this weekend. 2nd book by this author. Ms. Blunte is GOOD.

This is a sample; I've not yet started it. I am a FAN of Ms. Hannah.

The beginning was difficult for me. Too choppy. I like it better now, but am getting impatient with the slow pace.

I'm slugging through it. It is written in a style I'm not fond of: alternating chapters between characters and time periods. For me, it just interrupts the flow of the story. So, I read it a bit, then move to something else, then back again. So...We Shall See.

I doubt I will finish this. It's not what I thought it would be. We shall see.

I started this, but got waylaid by something that grabbed me...so I will get back to it. I htink it will be good.

My daughter and I are Amazon Prime Members, and we have a "Family Library" with Amazon. We each got $47.32 credit for Ebooks, due to some settlement between Amazon and publishers. Do you think we were pleased? We were thrileld to our toes. We took days to select a list of 15 really good books, and ended up with wonderful, highly rated books. Books we might not have been able to afford. What a wonderful treat.

Ms. Fisher is one of my favorite writers. She knows her genre like a Master of Suspense; she is one, a Master, that is. Love her work.

I haven't begun this one yet. I'm in the mystery/suspense mode right now.

Poor Grace...I will give her a try again. I am a quixotic, but always reading reader. I often start something, and find it's not matching my reading mood at the time, and then pick it up and finish it later.

I pulled this to read. I love well-done westerns. Not started it yet.

I know I will finish this, just not sure when.

Interesting book. Beautiful writring, but a bit slow and long. However, that aside I like it. But it's a book I read when the mood takes me; right now I need mystery, suspense, bright writing.

This is on my "To Finish Shelf." I will someday, but there is nothing really driving me to finish it. The writing is fine; it just doesn't excite me, and I so wanted it to. It's one of the books I won in the CYBC, and I am so grateful to the author for the book. She is a lovely woman, and I enjoy working with her so much. I wanted to love it...it is soooo long, and sooo slow. Makes me sad.
