All the "kids" in this book are 33+ and act like teenagers... I'm not sure what has been going on with these books. But just no. It seems like the A couple always take a back seat to the B couple. All the emotion, character arcs and what not are saved for the couple the book isn't about. Why?

I never realized that between this book and Dark Lover, only 3.5 years have passed. I was blown away when that was clearly stated. And I'm sure it had been said before but I just never retained it. Mostly because the characters talk about current TV shows and music and technology. American Horror story and Stranger Things did not exist in the early 2000s... This is driving me insane.

I know I'm almost 50% done with this book, so this may come up later... BUUT, all I can think about is as soon as Cal finds out who Phee is, he's immediately attracted to her. I would have liked to see Cal questioning his attraction to Adam. Maybe not understanding or just being confused. Does that make sense?

I cannot get over how the models' hands are placed. It's all I can focus on.
