Probably won’t finish. I’m 78 and can’t waste time on books that don’t grab me. First 4 stories essentially the same. Murder, crooked detectives and DAs. Innocent person gets screwed. Horrible this happens so much but nothing new so far in this book.

Great phrasing throughout and mostly interesting. Way too much about her love life. Needed most depth into her journey as a reporter.

Took me 9 months to finish because a wanted to absorb it all and learn.

Sorry, I don't like fiction. Quit at 15%.

Quit reading. Got too far in the weeds describing every staff and cabinet member.

Just amazing. Teddy Roosevelt pissed that he lost reelection so he goes on near unsurvivable expedition. Author put me right there in the dugouts on the Amazon. Great read of a story few know about. And the sad story of Kermit Roosevelt.
